Shedeur Sanders is one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in college football history. Over four seasons, he appeared in 50 games and completed 1,267 of 1,808 passes (70.1%) for 14,353 yards, 134 touchdowns, and just 27 interceptions.

He threw at least one touchdown pass in 49 consecutive games, the longest streak in NCAA Division I history (FBS and FCS combined), the second-longest in overall NCAA history, and a streak that would rank third all-time in the NFL.
Sanders finished his collegiate career ranked 14th in NCAA Division I history with more than 14,300 passing yards. He is only the second quarterback ever to surpass 14,000 passing yards while completing over 70 percent of his passes. Among quarterbacks with at least 13,000 passing yards, he is one of only eight players in history to finish with 100 or more touchdowns than interceptions.
His career quarterback rating of 156.01 ranks eighth all-time among quarterbacks with at least 13,000 passing yards.

In 24 games at Colorado, Sanders completed 651 of 907 passes (71.8%) for 7,364 yards, 64 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. He broke over 100 school records and finished his career ranked:

2023 Season (Junior – First Year at Colorado)
Sanders was named Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year by the Associated Press and earned multiple All-Transfer honors.
Despite playing through injuries, he appeared in 11 games and completed 298 of 430 passes (69.3%) for 3,230 yards, 31 touchdowns, and just three interceptions, while adding four rushing touchdowns.
Nationally, he led all quarterbacks in:
- Second-half passing yards per game
- Fourth-quarter touchdowns without an interception
He set multiple Colorado single-season records, including passing yards, completion percentage, and touchdown-to-interception ratio (9:1).
His season-opening performance against No. 17 TCU was historic:

It marked the first 500-yard passing game in school history.
Jackson State Career (2021–2022)
Before transferring to Colorado, Sanders starred at Jackson State, leading the Tigers to a 23–3 record, including a perfect 16–0 mark in SWAC play.
